Thanks to flexible processes, extensive external warehouses with high stock availability, and an experienced graphics team, this is often possible – provided the framework conditions are right.

How Fast Will My Promotional Products Be Ready?
In general, promotional products typically require a standard delivery time of 2–4 weeks from order confirmation to delivery, if they are shipped to one location in Switzerland. This timeframe includes:
- Production of the items
- Customization through printing, engraving, or embroidery
- Quality control
- Transportation to the desired delivery location
But we can also move faster. There are numerous Express and Priority solutions available. Depending on the product, delivery times of 3–14 business days are possible. Key factors include:
- Available stock of the selected products
- Standardized, simple customization methods
- Clearly defined print files ready for quick approval

With the Smart Filter in the bb trading shop, you can specifically search for products with short delivery times. Our assortment currently includes more than 1’500 items marked accordingly.
To display them, simply activate the «short delivery time» option in the filter. All matching products will then appear immediately, allowing you to see at a glance which items are especially suitable for urgent projects.
The filter not only simplifies product selection but also saves valuable planning time. You can instantly identify which products are suitable for spontaneous campaigns, last-minute client gifts, or event promotions – without having to review each product page individually.
Engrave It!
Engraving is generally one of the fastest customization methods, as the design is directly burned or etched into the material and does not require any drying or curing time. The process is technically straightforward and can begin immediately after the artwork preparation.
In contrast, the preparation phase for printing or embroidery is significantly more complex. Depending on the process, films, screens, or plates must first be created, or embroidery programs must be set up. This additional setup work extends the production process even before the actual customization begins.
Engraving usually does not require these preliminary steps, which makes it particularly efficient for Express projects.

What does Priority mean when ordering promotional products?
Simply put: priority handling of all process steps. With a Priority order, processes are prioritized and certain steps are deliberately accelerated:
- Preferred production slots in the factory
- Simplified customization that does not require lengthy testing
- Optimized transport solutions, often including express shipping
One rule applies: the shorter the delivery time, the more limited the selection of products, colors, and variants becomes. Express and Priority projects therefore rely on proven items with reliably short lead times to ensure dependable delivery.

The earlier we know that an order is Express or Priority, the more flexibility we have during implementation. This also makes it possible to consider special requests without affecting the timeline.
Requirements for Express Delivery:
Clear Data and Quick Decisions.
Communication is key! Time delays are often caused by questions or incomplete data. To ensure Express or Priority projects run smoothly, the following points are helpful:
- The product is clearly defined
- The logo is available in its final, correctly vectorized format
- The logo position is clearly specified or can be configured online
- When every second counts: skipping print approval so printing can start directly from the provided print files
The more precisely these requirements are met, the faster the delivery can be released – and your project can be completed on time.
Calculated Lead Times in the Shop:
Buffer Times and Priority Options.
Many products in the bb trading shop display a calculated delivery date, which intentionally includes a buffer of 1–3 days. This additional time serves as a safety margin within the production and delivery process.
For Priority projects, this buffer can often be reduced.
If you need delivery faster than the date shown, it’s worth contacting us directly via chat or phone. This allows us to immediately check whether an Express or Priority option is possible.
In many cases, we can find a solution that significantly shortens production and delivery times compared with the standard schedule.

Priority solutions can also be implemented for custom-made products such as inflatable promotional items, plush products, or bags, even though longer lead times are normally scheduled.
For example, depending on the product, air freight can reduce the timeline by 10–12 weeks.
These Priority options involve additional costs but can be crucial for time-sensitive projects—and they make it possible to produce custom-made items much faster without compromising on design or quality.
