- Neoprene: Soft, flexible material with good water repellency. Easy care – just wipe with a damp cloth; for tougher stains, mild soap solution helps. No machine washing to maintain shape.
- Polyester and recycled polyester: Robust and usually water-repellent to waterproof, depending on processing. Stains are generally easy to remove with a damp cloth. Machine washing is usually possible but best to follow manufacturer instructions.
- Tarpaulin: Very durable, waterproof material. Clean simply with a damp cloth. Ideal for protection in rain or moisture.
- Recycled cotton and blends: Natural fibers are less water-repellent and thus not ideal for damp environments. Stains should be removed quickly with a damp cloth. Machine washing is possible but with care (cold water, gentle cycle).
- Recycled plastic: Varies depending on processing, often water-repellent or waterproof. Cleaning is easy with a damp cloth.
- Recycled felt: Thanks to the polyurethane content (PU coating), felt offers some water resistance but is not fully waterproof. It is recommended to protect the cover from heavy rain and to carefully clean dirt with a damp cloth.
