Yet full throttle from day one.
You snooze, you lose? Not in the case of Roman Hasler, our Head of Procurement & Marketing, who has been with bb trading for 20 years and has almost become part of the furniture. Roman is practically five people in one: procurement, marketing, project coordination, or strategic interfaces – he’s involved everywhere. Hardly a second goes by without his expertise being needed somewhere.
Roman vividly remembers his first job interview: just out of military service, he arrived an hour late – convinced the appointment was at 9:30 a.m. instead of 8:30. «It was quite embarrassing for me», Roman recalls. «Luckily, bb took it with humor and understanding – for that I’m still grateful today.»
Starting in Sales, he quickly took on responsibility, gained valuable experience, and built exciting relationships with numerous clients – one of these connections even developed into a true friendship.

From sales to management.
About ten years ago, the next big step came: moving into management and taking over the Procurement and Marketing departments. In parallel, Roman completed a part-time degree in Business Administration & Marketing – an opportunity he still highly values at bb trading today.
Since then, Roman’s work has always been action-packed – always exciting, always different.
«After over 630 million working seconds, I still love my job», says Roman. «The variety, responsibility, trust, and development opportunities motivate me every single day.» He is particularly proud of what the team has achieved together over the past years – and of the company’s positive growth, which he has been able to witness and help shape.
