No unicorn,
no problem:
Angie shines without glitter.
Double take:
bb is the place to be.
Double is better? That could well be Angie’s motto.
When she first applied at bb, she chose a different job. But she came back and applied again – and the rest is history. Since September 2004, she’s been a proud part of our dream team.
She started in the training pool, then moved to order processing, giving her all for our customers for about eight years. Alongside, she completed additional training in Human Resources.
With her HR diploma in hand, Angie moved into the Secretariat and HR department, until 2016 – after 11.5 years – when she decided to explore new horizons. However, she quickly realized: not every workplace is as harmonious and human as bb.
The result? Eight months later, she returned!
Since then, Angie has been rocking not only HR but also vocational training with full dedication.
20 years: The highlights.
What does Angie love most about bb? Without a doubt: the mutual respect, the great work atmosphere – and simply the feeling of looking forward to coming to work every day.
And there have been unforgettable highlights along the way: visiting producers in China in 2008, just five years after she started at bb, harbour tours in Rotterdam and Amsterdam in 2013 to sharpen her sense for global logistics, and the visit to a pen manufacturer in Ticino in spring 2025.
Plus, every summer brings a special moment of joy when one of our apprentices successfully completes their KV training!
Speaking of anniversaries: after 20 years, we sadly don’t officially award a unicorn. Seriously. The highest trophy before the rainbow-colored Uniquehorn is the Goldhorn after 15 years.
But hey, creativity is our thing – so we simply handed Angie two silver horns for the photoshoot.
Well deserved… and somehow it fits twice as well – just like her motto.
