What is ISO 14001?
ISO 14001 is an internationally recognized standard for environmental management systems. It requires companies to identify, assess, and document the environmental aspects of their activities, products, and services – in other words, all interactions with the environment. The goal is to minimize environmental impacts, use resources efficiently, and implement targeted sustainable actions. We regularly undergo audits to measure our progress and continually improve.

How do we achieve this?
Through a comprehensive environmental management system based on our environmental aspect matrix. This helps us identify where improvements are needed:
- Use of 100% green electricity from Switzerland
- Promotion of paperless office processes
- Use of recycled packaging materials
…and much more.
Our suppliers are also part of the system and are required to provide sustainable solutions. Many of them already use recycled materials, solar power and are actively committed to protecting the environment. These sustainable supply chains motivate us to consistently pursue our environmental goals – for us, for you, for the environment!

Our implemented measures, projects and environmentally friendly measures speak for themselves. This is how we are committed to a more sustainable future:
- Sustainable promotional products with impact: We are continuously expanding our range of environmentally friendly products and corporate wear made from recycled materials.
- CO2-balanced deliveries: We support myclimate reforestation projects in Switzerland and Africa with climate contributions.
- 18’975 trees planted: Together with Plant-for-the-Planet, we plant seedlings every year and thus make the world a little greener – more trees bind more CO2.
- Recycling & packaging: Our aim is to minimize waste products. Cardboard boxes are recycled and we use air cushions made from recycled material.
- Less paper consumption: paperless processes save valuable resources.
- Employee motivation & climate protection: The bb team takes part in the annual Bike-to-Work Challenge and Clean-Up-Day Switzerland.
- Organic fruit for the team: Free organic fruit promotes the well-being of our employees.
- Fairness & commitment to social responsibility: bb promotes employee training and is committed to fair working conditions, gender-neutral wages and the protection of the rights of all stakeholders.
