Bike to Work 2026:
Riding Together for Sustainable Mobility.

bb on a Roll:
Staying Active Despite the Summer Heat.

In 2026, bb trading once again took part in Switzerland’s nationwide Bike to Work Challenge. Throughout May and June, our participating team members cycled to work as often as possible, logging plenty of miles along the way. Not even blazing sunshine and temperatures topping 30°C could slow them down.
Hats off!

This year’s challenge proved that enthusiasm remains just as strong after multiple years of participation. For the sixth time, our employees left their cars and public transportation behind in favor of cycling to work. In doing so, they made a meaningful contribution to climate-friendly mobility while promoting physical activity, personal well-being, and team spirit.

3'341 bb Kilometers:
For Health, the Climate & Team Spirit.

Every year, Switzerland’s Bike to Work Challenge, organized by Pro Velo Switzerland, encourages companies across the country to inspire their employees to cycle as part of their daily commute. Throughout the campaign, teams collect cycling days and kilometers together, discovering just how easy it is to make active mobility part of everyday working life.

The 2026 edition set new nationwide records: 111’160 participants from 4’072 companies cycled a combined 30’625’375 kilometers. That’s enough to circle the Earth about 764 times.

At bb trading, our cyclists were just as committed. Our internal results are something to be proud of: 13 motivated employees, competing in four teams, covered a total of 3’341 kilometers. In a straight line, that’s almost the distance from Zurich to Istanbul – and back again!
Together, they also saved approximately 481 kg of CO₂ emissions (CO₂e).

Unified on the Bike:
Bringing Movement and Responsibility Together.

The Bike to Work Challenge isn’t about being the first one to reach the office. It’s about shared motivation, the joy of cycling, and contributing to more sustainable mobility. Every commute by bike reduces emissions, supports better health, and provides an energetic start to the day.

This perfectly reflects bb trading’s approach to sustainability: putting practical solutions into action, taking responsibility together, and creating a meaningful impact through many small everyday decisions.
