The Zurich Limmat Swim is as much a part of Zurich as the Sächsilüte or the Grossmünster. Since 1945, or 58 editions, thousands of water sports enthusiasts have been swimming down the Limmat every August. And with them thousands of bright yellow, cuddly swimming animals.
These custom-made products, which we produce for our long-standing customer ewz, are not only practical swimming aids, but also the visual highlight of the event.

Limmy, Röbi and Co.: Who's swimming with them?
A special highlight of the Limmat Swim: every year, participants can submit name suggestions for the swimming animals on ewz’s social media channels.
Thousands of dolphins named Limmy floated down the Limmat in 2023 and armies of sea lions named Röbi in 2024.
Whether dolphins, sea lions or hippos – thanks to the support of ewz, every year we are allowed to make new, iconic swimming aids from A to Z as a special production, which not only enrich swimming in the Limmat, but also underline the sustainable vision of ewz and bb trading.
